Kassidy McDonald

My name is Kassidy McDonald and I graduated cum laude with my master’s degree in mass media communications, B.A, in journalism and specialization in Spanish from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in 2016.

I currently work at Evolve Public Relations & Marketing in Scottsdale where I manage my own unique set of both local and national client accounts in different markets across the country and serve as an employee onboarding trainer. I have landed coverage for clients in The New York Times, TechCrunch, Electrek, Medium.com, Good Morning America, CNN and Forbes.com.

My current client list ranges from industries such as healthcare, hospitality/ F&B, B2B businesses, technology, law, engineering, nonprofits and events. I have extensive experience ghostwriting for national and local publications, writing press releases, creating dynamic client reports, maintaining strong relationships with both local media and reporters across the country and developing strong marketing initiatives for companies.

My previous experience includes working as a publicist and social media coordinator for another agency in town, called MMPR Marketing. I’ve also worked as a reporter for Arcadia News, blogger for the State Press at ASU and have been a student reporter on KTAR News, and a foreign correspondent reporter in Israel for Cronkite/News PBS 8.

I have a wide range of media related skills such as videography, documentary & broadcast production, proficiency in the Adobe and Microsoft suites, as well as strong communication, time management and writing skills.
